David Simonak, D.O.
Dr. Simonak is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice and has been practicing medicine in north Fort Worth for over thirty years. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology, with highest honors, from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He earned his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine/University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas and completed his Family Medicine training at Ohio University, Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Simonak enjoys the challenge of medicine and impacting the lives of his patients. He and his wife have three grown sons. The oldest, Ryan Simonak, D.O., joined Fossil Creek Family Medical Center in July of 2015. Dr. Simonak and his wife's second son, Brady, is completing his residency in Family Practice in Corpus Christie, Texas. Their youngest son, Reese, is attending college. Dr. Simonak enjoys watching sports, hunting, fishing, traveling, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends. He is an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

Ryan Simonak, D.O.
Dr. Ryan Simonak joined Fossil Creek Family Medical Center in practice the summer of 2015. He is very excited to join his father in practice & strives to carry on the provision of high quality patient care.
His passion for learning & playing football carried him to Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he earned a biochemistry BS and a history BA, while earning a starting position as a wide receiver & on special teams. He earned his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas, and then completed residency in family medicine at Trident Health Center/Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He remained in Charleston for 3 years working at Doctors Care, an urgent care/family medicine clinic.
Dr. Simonak is honored to be involved in his patient's health and aims to positively impact his patients' lives. He enjoys time with family & friends, hunting, fishing, biking, playing guitar, & reading. He & his wife, Ashley, are the proud parents to their son, Luke, and daughter, Madelyn.

Brady Simonak, D.O.
We welcomed Dr. Brady Simonak to Fossil Creek Family Medical Center on July 24, 2017. Dr. Brady Simonak is following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. David Simonak, and older brother, Dr. Ryan Simonak.
Dr. Brady, as he is affectionately known by his staff, earned his BS in Biology at Texas Christian University in 2007, before serving as a National Marines Fishery Observer, Field Biologist, in Anchorage AK. Returning home to Texas, he earned his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, June 2014, and later completed his residency in Family Medicine from CHRISTUS Health-Spohn/Texas A &M in Corpus Christi, in June of 2017.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Brady returned home to Fort Worth, with his beautiful wife, Sarah. He enjoys hunting, fishing and working out. He is very excited to join the practice that his father started over 30 years ago, and looks forward to carrying on the same great level of care our patients have grown to appreciate.

Kristina Hall, FNP
Kristina is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Fort Worth, Texas to attend Texas Christian University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started her nursing career at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where she spent 5 years caring for critically ill children. In 2013, she was awarded the DAISY Award for extraordinary nurses. Kristina then obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. She has enjoyed caring for patients at Fossil Creek Family Medical Center, PA since 2020. Kristina and her husband live in Dallas and have two (soon to be three!) energetic young boys who keep them busy. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and golden retriever and traveling to new places.

Krista Watkins, PA-C
Krista Watkins PA-C, joined our practice in March of 2019. She grew up here in Fort Worth, Texas and went to Boswell High School where she met her fiancé, Dillon. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of North Texas in Denton. After graduating, she became a medical scribe until pursuing her passion and starting PA school at UT Health San Antonio. She recently graduated in December of 2018 and moved back to Fort Worth to be close to family and begin her medical career at Fossil Creek Family Medical Center.
She and her fiancé have two Dachshunds, Riley and Bella. Krista loves spending her free time with her family, building and refurbishing furniture, and gardening. She also enjoys DIY, traveling, cooking and being active outdoors.

Stephanie Edwards, PA-C
Stephanie Edwards PA-C joined the team at FCFMC in April 2023. She graduated with a BS in Human Sciences from UT, then furthered her education at UNTHSC, where she earned her degree in physician assistant studies in 2017. Fluent in Spanish, Stephanie has predominantly focused her career on women’s health before transitioning into primary care. Not only has she shared her knowledge as a guest lecturer at UNTHSC, but she has also demonstrated her commitment to patient education. Stephanie's dedication lies in delivering comprehensive care and ensuring patients are equipped to make informed decisions about their health, reflecting her deep-seated belief in empowering individuals through education.

Valerie
Valerie was born and raised on the Texas coast, south of Houston. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas A&M University in 2007, and attained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from UNTHSC in 2011. She has experience in family medicine and urgent care. Her passion is family medicine, as it allows her to care for her patients' overall well-being and build meaningful relationships through continuity of care. She loves spending quality time with her firefighter husband, Wade, her twin boys, two bonus sons, and one bonus daughter. She enjoys baking, cooking with Wade, and never misses an episode of Wheel of Fortune.
